Welcome to J Ford Enterprises. J Ford
Enterprises was founded by John Ford, a native of Madison, Virginia. His parents taught him the
value of reliability, honesty and integrity -
the principles on which he founded his business. He
lives by the advice his mother once gave him: Choose
a career, not a job. Do what you love and you'll be
successful. You will always excel when you're passionate
about what you do.
John's interest in farming and
excavating was apparent at an early age. By the age of
14 he was learning to operate and repair heavy equipment
and working on the farm. He received his CDL at just 18
years of age and opened his first business (A1
Excavating, Inc.) by 22. Today, through John's hard work
and perseverance, his company continues to grow and
expand.
John is a volunteer firefighter and
ambulance driver with
Reva
VFR and sits on the personnel and membership
recruitment and retention committees. He met his
sweetheart, Stephanie, through Reva and they continue to
volunteer together.
